Andrew Beeson



Andrew has over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant, commencing with “big 4” audit experience, and continuing through various commercial roles, including roles as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of two ASX listed companies .

His commercial experience has been predominantly in the Australian manufacturing and packaging sectors, and includes roles in the Asia Pacific region. He has direct experience as a CFO during  a successful ASX listing process, and during times of company acquisitions, organisation restructures and systems enhancements.  

In addition to IPO experience, he has  developed an advanced knowledge of ASX reporting requirements, ASX listing rules and corporate governance requirements.

Andrew began Finance Resources in 2011, and  over the last  4 years, has provided  a range of finance related advisory services to Boards, CEOs and finance teams, including ASX statutory reporting, interim CFO roles, company secretarial roles, strategic planning and financial governance reviews.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, having recently graduated from the Company Directors course. He also holds a graduate diploma of applied corporate governance from the Governance Institute of Australia (formerly Chartered Secretaries of Australia).

Andrew is currently an independent director and Chairman of an expanding private company in the grocery and hardware merchandising sector and has over 8 years’ experience in the role of Independent Chair of the audit & risk committee of a government enterprise.

Philip Thomas

Philip specialises in Management and Boardroom Governance, particularly the difficult and more complex matters. Clients range from international and Australian listed entities, large private companies and Not for Profits in a variety of sectors and industries. He has held executive positions in ASX listed corporations and advisory groups.

He is a frequent guest speaker to industry on development, control and assessment practices including governance procedures for management and Boards. This area includes training in aspects and support for directors and company secretaries of practical governance and business solutions.

He is currently a director of four Companies and a Chairman of a reasonably sized Not for Profit.

John Keogh

Specialist in ASX Statutory Reporting Requirements

John has over 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Certified Accountant, starting in audit before moving into outsource services.

His commercial experience has been predominantly in ASX listed entities in a variety of sectors, including resources, payment services and green energy, and includes companies with significant Asia Pacific operations. He has significant ASX financial reporting experience, and has been involved in the preparation of financial reports of over 25 listed companies over the last 5 years.

John also has IPO experience, and has developed an advanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and a working knowledge of ASX reporting requirements, listing rules and corporate governance requirements
